This listing is for custom made Shyann sculpt by Aleina Peterson. Shyann is a sweet, dainty, nineteen inches, and will weigh four to five pounds when complete. Holding her in your arms and seeing those sweet little fingers will bring out the "awwww...." I just have to pat her on the tooshie.

Aleina Peterson's rebornss are known and loved all around the world!! This one of the most popular reborn sculpts ever made. One look at her delicate features and sweet little fingers and toes, and its easy to see why she is such a popular baby. To achieve the most realistic skin tones I use only Genesis Heat Set Paints. I do not use pre-mixed colors, but prefer to mix my own paints for each baby so that no two are ever identical, but all have their own unique baby complexion.

My name is Rita Meese and I have been reborning dolls since 2007. Together, with my husband David, we have brought over 1,000 “Little Darlins” to life. These babies have been adopted to families all over the world! David and I take great pride in the work we do, and only the highest quality materials are used in our babies. Our goal is to create babies of “heirloom quality” that will bring joy for many years to come.

Shyann will be made especially for you! You will choose:

The paint will be applied in many thin layers and baked into the vinyl so it will never fade or peel. Every baby has blushing in all their creases and dimples. Many hours are spent on each baby to get the complexion just right.

Shyann has ¾ limbs and a custom made, fully jointed, doe suede body. She will be stuffed and weighted in her head, body, and limbs with fiberfill and small pellets for a very realistic feel. She is about nineteen inches long and weighs four to five pounds. Sand is never used in our babies so they may travel overseas without any problems.

Her hair will be hand rooted with high quality mohair, using an ultra fine needle, a strand or two at a time. Then it will be sealed inside with waterproof glue. Please read the care instructions before combing your baby’s hair. Mohair should never be combed dry.

Shyann’s nose will be opened and backed with dark felt for a very realistic look. The eyebrows will be painted on in fine, delicate strokes. Human hair eyelashes will be applied to frame her beautiful eyes in the color of your choice. She will be given a manicure and pedicure for that just clipped baby look. The nails, as well as the mouth, will be glossed and sealed. Her mouth will have a slightly moist look.

All reborn dolls are hand made and may be fragile. Please be aware there are small parts than can be a choking hazard. Adult supervision is strongly recommended.

Homecoming:

Shyann will come home dressed in a diaper, onesie, and socks and one outfit of my choice. I will ask for your color preference, but it depends upon availability She will be snuggled in her custom made fleece blanket or bunting. Additional accessories include a hairbow and magnetic pacifier (if desired). Please be aware these magnets are very strong and should not be used around pacemakers or near electronic equipment. Earrings may also be added at no additional charge.

We make each and every reborn, one at a time. Special attention is given to your doll for the best results possible. For this reason, from time to time, we are unable to complete your reborn by the date issued by Etsy. We never rush our process. If it looks like it may take a bit more time to complete, we will contact you and send a "care package" with a few goodies for you while you are waiting for your baby. This is done at no cost to you. We appreciate your patience during this process.

Custom made dolls are made to the buyers' specifications and are made to the highest standards. The buyer chooses many aspects of the final product, such as hair, eyes, and complexion. For this reason, Little Darlins Nursery is unable to give refunds on custom made dolls.

We do, however, stand behind our product. We are proud of our dolls, of our workmanship, and we do not ship a doll until we are satisfied. We stand behind our workmanship, the materials used, and our descriptions in the eBay listings.

If the buyer is not satisfied with the doll, please contact us with pictures highlighting the problem. If we believe this is our error, the buyer must ship the doll back to us within fourteen days upon delivery, at the buyers' expense, with tracking numbers and delivery confirmation. We recommend purchasing postal insurance as well.

We will correct the defect to our best ability, and return the doll to you, return postage and shipping insurance paid by us.

Ready-made dolls (not custom made) are made to the highest standards. We only use new, quality materials. We strive to make a doll that will be a joy to you and last for years.

Little Darlins Nursery will choose whether to repair or replace your doll. We will replace your doll or correct the defect to our best ability. Please allow up to thirty business days for repair or replacement. We will return the doll to you, return postage paid and insured.

Often we get requests for pictures during the reborning process. While we certainly understand that you are waiting and want to see how things are going, we must ask you to consider a couple of things.

First, we are a very busy reborning nursery. We love what we do. If we have several orders lined up, David would have to take pictures of each doll (no we don't have a cell phone). We have found that it truly disrupts our ability to make your doll and get it shipped in a timely manner.

Second, our goal is to provide you a wonderful experience. We believe it is important for you to see your baby when you receive it. The experience would be kind of spoiled if you see it all in parts, with no eyes or hair, no body, no clothes, etc.

Finally, our ultimate goal is for you, our cherished customer, to have the “awwww.....” moment when you first set eyes upon your new baby. That special feeling when you first hold him or her. That moment when you put your baby up on your shoulder and pat her little tooshie. That moment when you first set eyes upon her and look in awe at the fingers and toes, at the subtle veining, etc.
