We are proud to introduce Holly, by Donna Rubert. When complete she will be about twenty-one inches long and weigh four to six pounds. Holly is a sweet bald baby with a lovely complexion and cute little grin. We hope you like her!

My name is Rita Meese and I love to reborn dolls! Together with my husband David we have now brought 1,000 dolls to "life." Our babies are loved by families and collectors all over the world. We take pride in the work we do, and only the highest quality materials are used in our babies. Our goal is to create babies of “heirloom quality” that will bring joy for many years to come.

To achieve the most realistic skin tones I use only Genesis Heat Set Paints. I do not use pre-mixed colors, but prefer to mix my own paints for each baby so that no two are ever identical, but all have their own unique baby complexion. The paint is applied in many thin layers and each layer gets baked into the vinyl so it will never fade or peel. The creases and dimples all receive blushing for realism. Many hours are spent on each baby to get the complexion just right.

Holly's complexion was created using many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. The colors were blended to form just the right complexion. Each layer is baked in so it will not fade or peel. I applied blushing to her creases and dimples to bring out her realism. These pictures are of a baby that has already been adopted and are just to give you an idea of how your baby will look. You will choose;

Style of clothing (sleeper or tutu)

Your baby will have ¾ limbs and a custom made, fully jointed, doe suede body. She will be stuffed and weighted in her head, body, and limbs with fiberfill and small pellets for a very realistic feel. She will weigh four to six pounds and is about twenty inches long. Sand is never used so travel overseas is no problem.

Your baby's nose will be gently opened and backed with dark felt for realism. I will paint the eyebrows with fine delicate strokes. Eyelashes will be applied to frame her eyes to bring out her sweet expression.

I will give her a manicure and pedicure to give the hands and feet a delicate look. I will gloss and seal her mouth for a slightly moist look. Her mani/pedi will also be glossed and sealed.

All reborn dolls are hand made, and not meant for use by small children. Please be aware there are small parts than can be a choking hazard. Adult supervision is required.

Holly will come home with a sleeper or tutu (your choice).

She will also have a diaper and a onesie. She will come home snuggled in her soft flannel blanket. Earrings may be added at no additional charge.

Finally, Holly will arrive with a reborn certificate signed by me, and care instructions for your new baby.

We are able to accept most major credit/debit cards as well as paypal. Paypal accepts personal checks as well.

We make each and every reborn, one at a time. Special attention is given to your doll for the best results possible. For this reason, from time to time, we are unable to complete your reborn by the date issued by Etsy. We never rush our process. If it looks like it may take a bit more time to complete, we will contact you and send a "care package" with a few goodies for you while you are waiting for your baby. This is done at no cost to you. We appreciate your patience during this process.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please be aware that delays, customs charges, and tariffs may occur. Your baby will be completed and ready to ship within 15 days of cleared payment. Please do not ask me to mark this item as a gift or lower the value of the item. We follow all postal regulations.

Custom made dolls are made to the buyers' specifications and are made to the highest standards. The buyer chooses many aspects of the final product, such as hair, eyes, and complexion. For this reason, Little Darlins Nursery is unable to give refunds on custom made dolls.

We do, however, stand behind our product. We are proud of our dolls, of our workmanship, and we do not ship a doll until we are satisfied. We stand behind our workmanship, the materials used, and our descriptions in the eBay listings.

If you are not satisfied with the doll, please contact us with pictures highlighting the problem. If we believe this is our error, the buyer must ship the doll back to us within fourteen days upon delivery, at the buyers' expense, with tracking numbers and delivery confirmation. We recommend purchasing postal insurance as well.

We will correct the defect to our best ability, and return the doll to you, return postage and shipping insurance paid by us.

Ready-made dolls (not custom made) are made to the highest standards. We only use new, quality materials. We strive to make a doll that will be a joy to you and last for years.

Often we get requests for pictures during the reborning process. While we certainly understand that you are waiting and want to see how things are going, we must ask you to consider a couple of things.

First, we are a very busy reborning nursery. We love what we do. If we have several orders lined up, David would have to take pictures of each doll (no we don't have a cell phone). We have found that it truly disrupts our ability to make your doll and get it shipped in a timely manner.

Second, our goal is to provide you a wonderful experience. We believe it is important for you to see your baby when you receive it. The experience would be kind of spoiled if you see it all in parts, with no eyes or hair, no body, no clothes, etc.

Finally, our ultimate goal is for you, our cherished customer, to have the “awwww.....” moment when you first set eyes upon your new baby. That special feeling when you first hold him or her. That moment when you put your baby up on your shoulder and pat her little tooshie. That moment when you first set eyes upon her and look in awe at the fingers and toes, at the subtle veining, etc.
