Leica M3 Double Stroke with Leica MR-4 Meter Y Seal

For sale is a beautiful Leica M3 double stroke with a Leica MR-4 meter.This camera has a Y seal, which means Leitz New York did a CLA many years ago, as it's no longer Leitz NY.This camera has been film tested, with film speeds working at all speeds, but 1/1000 and 1/500 have shutter capping.The camera could use a CLA to adjust the timing/space of the shutter.At one point in it's life the shutter was patched.The shutter is in good condition, no light leaks or pin holes.The film advance is smooth and shutter is quiet.Rangefinder is aligned.Viewfinder has some separation, but still functions well.Original vulcanite on the body and back door which feels great.The MR-4 seems fairly accurate in use.This is a good shooters camera.Usual marks on the chrome from years of use and the meter.Please see photos for details.
