Leica M2 adapted for use with Leicavit Rapidwinder just CLA'd #1144389. 1966 productionM2 has just been CLA'd- cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted and is shooting nicely.M2 is Leicavit ready with the proper long film winding shaft installed for Leicavit use.
M2 is in excellent +++ cosmetic and mechanical condition.
Top plate corners have light rub marks from strap use. Bottom plate has brightlines and some small light scratches. Lettering is clear and bright.
Body Vulcanite is solid and tight all the way around.Back door Vulcanite has been replaced with Aki-Asahi type.Camera has no dings or dents.

Wind and rewind are strong. Speeds are accurate.Shutter cloth has a wrinkle mark- shutter cloths are light tight and operating properly.Viewfinder framelines are bright and properly aligned. View through the finder is bright and clear.
Rangefinder is excellent with very bright contrasty 2nd image. Rangefinder is properly aligned and easy to focus.Self-timer, preview lever, and counter are functioning properly.
M2 comes with Leica Film Spool.
